The Spiral is everywhere
and it is a geometric source of great fascination to me.
we move and live in circles.
we grow in spirals.
We hold on and explore for as deep or as high or as long as our interest and passion will allow or,
for as long as we have life and strength with which to learn in cases where we are really smitten.
A craft. A trade. A discipline. A sport. An art. Whatever. It’s all the same.
We walk in the footsteps of others who had their own winding path.
We make mistakes. We learn and discover that some of the mistakes were fortuitous, taking us down new paths of discovery.
It’s so often a spiral.
Mutations on the gene.
A fork in the road.
That broken toaster.
